Came down to Gilt during December for some Christmas work drinks. Was a bit too busy for me but a great atmosphere. Will be going back in the new year for sure when it is more to my taste. Nice setting and decoration and helpful staff.
Time Out says

Located a short walk from Fenchurch Street tube station, Gilt is divided into a lounge bar and a restaurant, both with separate entrances. During the day, it’s predominantly a place for business lunches, with a modern European menu that offers everything from burgers to Greek salad. At night though, a long wine menu and selection of classic and signature cocktails get the local City workers onto the dancefloor.

After having discovered Gilt a few months ago and found it to be a great spot for lunch my friends and I decided to try it out last Friday night. We had a ball! Great cocktails (half price before 8 o'clock) and the music was AMAZING! Proper good fun night out - we didn't leave until gone 1am - would highly recommend Gilt to anyone. Already looking for a date when we can visit again. Loved it! Michelle.
