Patties might rule the menu here, but the experience of dining at Haché is closer to that of an urbane modern restaurant than a burger bar. The interior is chic and intimate; the glow of hanging candelabra and mirrored wall panels soften the dark wooden furniture and beams to create a surprisingly romantic mood.

The attention of the young staff varied, but this was soon forgotten when a glass of tart real lemonade and a creamy vanilla milkshake arrived. Prime Scotch beef is used in the burgers, and the range of combinations is lengthy and innovative – roasted red pepper and goat’s cheese, say, or portobello mushroom and basil pesto.

Cooked to tender perfection, they’re served on floury ciabatta or brioche, with generous sides of skin-on chips or sweet potato frites. Alternatives include burgers made with fish, chicken, lamb and even crispy duck, as well as several vegetarian falafel burgers, and salads. Pricing is very reasonable considering the premium ingredients and restaurant-standard cooking.

Lovely venue; tasty, imaginative and affordable food, and a great atmosphere.  Would definitely recommend for dinner with friends, or a relaxed, informal date.

Had a fantastic lunch here - the milkshakes and the burgers stand out!

Sophisticated burgers in London! I love burgers, and hands down these are the best I've ever had. They are cooked to perfection, topped with unusual ingredients and wonderful cheeses, served in a lovely kind of bread...just perfect!

The restaurant is very beautiful and very different from a burger place, more elegant, with a lovely atmosphere. Despite the appearance, it's also quite affordable and oh my god you need to try their truffle fries! Super yum!

It's a lovely place for a date, but it's good for any occasion, especially if you love burgers as much as I do.

Great Burgers. Great Burgers.
Nice atmosphere and staff. Not cheap, but comparable prices to your Byron's et al, but I think they have the edge.

My best friend has sworn by it for years and I've finally gone to Hache for the first time last week. Oh. My. Dear. Sweet. Juicy. Cheesy. Burger! It was every bit as truely wonderful as she has described it to me. I went to the Camden branch that was still serving a limited edition burger for Paddy's day: I'm talking rosemary infused beef, Guinness cheddar (I know... Put your tongue back inside your mouth), the crispiest bacon I've ever had the luck to bite into and coleslaw all served in a soft briochey bun. I genuinely don't have anything to add to this... Apart maybe from the incredible Bailey's, Tia Maria and Oreo milkshake I had as a dessert that was again an all-starrer.

Went to the Camden Branch-- was still pretty early (almost 5pm on the dot) so got seated right away by the host. The staff was incredibly courteous and also offered to turn down the heat as it was blowing right on my face.

I ordered the Christmas Burger (as part of my self-concocted Christmas Burger challenge) and was it fantastic. Nestled in a brioche bun was a juicy deep fried piece (breast?) of turkey, sausage and sage stuffing, cranberry jam, brussel spouts, and crowned with two pigs in blankets. The only thing this burger was missing was being covered in booze and set on fire (don't recommend trying this) to invoke the Christmas spirit.

It's a bit pricier than most of the burgers on the menu-- but its quite a big'un. I had no sides and felt quite full up long into the evening. The waiter did try and tempt me with truffle fries, but I resisted the urge, more because I was dreading the amount of miles I would have to put in running just on the burger alone.

Again, wait staff were not pushy and came back to check up on me and see if I wanted anything else. Prompt bill and even got called 'lovely lady'.... always nice to hear and help with the Christmas cheer!

Would definitely come back to Haché if in the mood for a burger-- great food, great staff, and overall wonderful experience!

PS You can find my blog about all the burgers (so far) on my Christmas Burger Challenge here: http://moosenshoes.blogspot.co.uk/2015/12/timeout-christmas-burger-challenge.html

I have been coming to Hache for time now and I've never been  disappointed. In my opinion, they serve the best burgers in London. They used fresh and high quality products and everything is always very well seasoned. The atmosphere is very cosy and the staff is always very friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Really delicious burgers, great choice of toppings, lovely service and an intimate and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely keep going back!

lovely restaurant & atmosphere, great choice of burgers and very good quality!!

The burger is very good and filling. It is quite expensive though compared to Byron, and the service is a bit hit and miss

Awesome food and service, best burger I have had in London to date.

I was looking for somewhere To eat around Camden and found Hache through this website. True to the review, the burgers were fantastic, melting in your mouth. So too, we're the amazing sweet potato fries, they couldn't have been fresher and our service was impeccable (we were there early evening before it good busy). An all round good experience.

Great burgers, shame about the chips which were cooked from frozen not fresh. I wouldn't bother ordering next time (they are extra - £3 ish). Joint the campaign for real chips here ... not really but the assumption that it's OK to serve chips cooked from frozen even in a 'good' restaurant is widespread and really not on.

I had a lunch at Hache yestarday(thursday) was my third time and I am always asking myself, why I am not going more often...the food was marvelous and though the restaurant was busy the service was friendly and quick. Definetely I would not wait too long for the next time.

I like the atmosphere, the burgers were good but not worth the frustration. I have been there 3 times, each visit was the same- waiting- waiting for the menu, drinks and longer for the food. This would be a great place if the staff could pull it together!

THE BEST Burgers this side of the river and the other side for that matter. I don't usually go for burgers but these are simply amazing. Great onion rings and fries too. I have not witnessed any rudeness from the staff as other reviewers have but dont let that put you off. the only downside might be difficulty getting a table especially at weekends, which further proves how good this place is!

So very disappointed. Ate at the Haché in Shoreditch a couple of times earlier in the year - best burgers ever. Just eaten there again: much thinner and less good quality beef patty, rubbish bacon, lower quality bun, etc. etc. I guess the chain has asserted itself and the quality and care has gone downhill. Had recommended the chain to everyone - I totally withdraw that recommendation, and won't be eating there again myself.
