I had a wowcher.co.uk voucher for lunch for 2. I remember calling them about 3 weeks ago making a reservation for lunch, unfortunately that time the restaurant was already closed for lunch. The person I spoke to said I can use that offer for a dinner as long as I come early, like 6 pm or so. Anyway we decided not to go that day and I called them to make a reservation yesterday. I booked for 6 pm saying that I have Wowcher and later we arrived. The place is run down, kitsch looking restaurant, but we didn't really care. We sat down, I gave them my voucher and waited. They brought us the menu and after 10 minutes waitress came to tell us we can't use the voucher. I tried to explain what they told me the other day, but she just wouldn't listen or try to understand, answering back raising her voice at me. Just to mention the restaurant was completely empty, and they were all just standing there. Then some tattooed guy, probably the owner started to shout from the back, not even bother to come to our table ,,Voucher is for lunch, that's it! You will not use it here! You can leave now, see you later ' ' !!!! That was so rude,I couldn't believe... I understand it was partly my fault, although I was previously given wrong information, but I could pay extra or just leave without any problems if asked politely. Terrible experience, and this guy would still go on and on in Italian when we were leaving the restaurant. I don't understand how someone like this can run a restaurant, with no customer service at all, being rude to people for no reason. Please avoid this place, there are many more better restaurants in West Hampstead!
