A very clean restaurant with beautiful lights. Tried the Ak Bari lamb shank and it's one if the nicest dishes I've tried in any Indian restaurant. I was given complimentary E and J brandy on the house. Friendly staff as well. I'll see you guys next week. Highly recommended if you are around kings cross.

We enjoyed a great meal, the food was really good. I'm a massive curry fan and have to say my Balti was probably the nicest I've had in a long time. The service was very good and all the staff were really friendly. It's a very clean and modern restaurant. Do not hesitate to visit, you will really enjoy it. I will be visiting again soon.
The lamb green chilli is a must...delicious dish and seems to be very popular. Staff are superb. A must visit!
This restaurant is close to King's Cross station. The well-priced menu provided one of the best Indian dinners I have ever had. The staff provided us with complimentary drinks as well. I would have returned if I had had a longer visit in London.
Very nice restaurant located at the centre of kings cross. For all the vegetarians, I recommend flower of indian lounge and paneer jalfrezi.
Delicious indian food near Tottenham court road. Beats all the restaurants in Drummond street. Highly recommended.
Delicious indian food in Tottenham court road. Beats all the restaurants in Drummond street. Highly recommended.
Best indian in kings cross. Book in advance may be a good idea as it tends to get busy at peak times. Shehzad (a regular customer)
We were a party of 10 and we had the best meal out at Indian Lounge. The food was probably the best indian we had, the staff were attentive and refilled our drinks for us and we were given complimentary amaretto's on the house at the end! Book here for parties!!!! Thanks again guys!
Definitely the best indian restaurant in kings cross. Having looked at the previous reviews, I had high expectations and guess what, I was not disappointed at all. The staff took our drink order and delivered it immediately. We had the kadia chicken and the dhaba lamb from the chef's special and it was delicious (nothing to complain about). We had a lovely chat with the manager and he offered us complimentary brandy which was unexpected and a nice touch from the manager. I will be telling my family and friends about this restaurant for sure. Don't hesitate, come to Indian Lounge! Visited on october 2013
Excellent food. Me and my friend tried the mango chicken and the tandoori mix grill with a side of cheese nan and mushroom fried rice. Everything was tasty and the staff were very attentive. The chef came to speak to us which was a first in any restaurant and we were given complimentary amaretto's on the house which was a nice end to the meal. Highly recommended to everyone. I will be back for sure.
Great food and nice service. Lovely devour with big cinema screen. Watched bolloywood while eating, nice!
Must try the mango chicken if your a big fan of mild curries. My partner had the malai murghi mirchi and she loved it. Staff are very welcoming, Definitely the best indian restaurant in kings cross and much better than next door (kings cross tandoori - average curry house). Recommended. Visited September 2013
Good selection of vegetarian dishes and friendly staff. Me and my family came to this restaurant three times in a row. Raj
Indian Lounge is truly my favourite Indian restaurant in London with means my boyfriend visiting them at least twice a week. Every time we have visited, we have tried different dishes including chicken garlic chilli massala, dhaba lamb, tava ghost Lahore and the lamb shank and they all hit the spot. You can also specially request how spicy you want the dish and the star are more than happy to make the dish for you. The chef even comes up to see us and ask us how we are which makes it very welcoming. To round off our meals, we are given complementary amarettos or brandy which is a nice touch from the staff.
Good food, clean napkins, attentive staff and fresh decour. They even got a big waterfall downstairs which was a surprise. Nothing more to add, highly recommended.
Visited this restaurant after recommendation from underground staff and what can I say? Probably the best chicken tikka bhuna I've had in london along with a nice and fluffy naan bread. This restaurant seems to be very popular and quickly fills up but the staff are always there to help. If I come through kings cross again, I know where to stumble. Visited July 2013
This place is a real gem located at the centre of st. pancras. I've been here several times and always go for the usual - chicken passanda and a lemon rice and it is by far, the best curry I've had in years. Staff are friendly and willing to answer any questions you have. Give it a try!
Usually when you dine out on your own, you seem to feel lonely but not at Indian Lounge. The staff are amazing and always telling brilliant stories - had a great conversation with all of them, made me feel at home! One was a big fan of cricket which was a plus :). Even better was the food - Keema murgh was probably the best indian dish I've had in london - something different. The pilau rice, chilli nan and a side of chana masala was also delicious. If you are around Kings cross, this is the place to go.
This place is well worth the visit - honestly the best indian food in London. We were a group of 6 from Bedford and we were blown away with the food and we all said we had not eaten better elsewhere! We had a tava gosht lahori, murghi kalapuri, mango chicken, lamb shank, King prawn jalfrezi and sizzling hariali murghi tikka and they were all delicious (thinking about all of these dishes while writing on here mmmmm). .We were offered complementary drinks at the end of the meal which was a nice touch from the staff. We will be back next time we are in london.
I am more than happy to travel in from South London to eat at Indian Lounge. My friend discovered this place a few weeks ago and recommended it to me. I have already been 3 times and the food is always good and the menu is varied and innovative. Staff are very friendly and helpful too which is a bonus.
Lovely marinated Tandoori chicken and special fried rice - very filling and good staff - have a look downstairs - lovely scenery with the waterfall. Recommended.
I only visit this place once a month when I work in Kings cross but I am treated like a regular and the staff always remember me. This place is very popular and tends to get busy as the evening goes on so the service may be a little slow but the Manager and the staff always make up for it. A particular dish I would recommend is the King Prawn Aubergine - not your everyday curry but something special. Charles Klubber
Lounge Delight! Living locally, we have been here a few times. Great diverse menu but we are always quite boring and order the same thing (chana masala, okra bhaji, brinjal bhaji, vegetable dhansak, aloo gobi). Service is good but this is place is a popular place and when it gets busy, sometimes you are fighting for staff attention. Delicious selection of veg options, nice naan breads and yummy mango lassi. Oh and I forgot to mention, we are always offered complementary coffees or teas on the house but since we are always full, we kindly decline :). Thanks guys.
I come to this restaurant regularly. I absolutely love it. My favourite spot for lunch. The food and service is great!!
Simply fantastic! Have had two very enjoyable meals here with family. The service has always been attentive and quite sufficient and the food has always been fresh with slightly different ingredients than the normal and with a bit of twist but certainly enjoyable. Go for the Lamb Green chilli if you love a challenge. I will not hesitate to return or recommend.
Never fails to Impress! Our third visit to this excellent restaurant and will not be the last. Living 100 miles away we don't get to eat here regularly but would do if we were closer. Great selection of starters as well as Mains and a long list of Chef's special - cant wait to try new dishes next time we are in London! Visited March 2013
Fully lived up to expectations. Excellent food prepared and served to the very highest quality. Waiters are very knowledgeable about all the menu items. This is a very high quality establishment where all aspects of hospitality are demonstrated to the highest level. The best Lamb Balti I had in years!!!
Are you looking for a restaurant that serves amazing food, combining incredible flavours and is located in London? Indian Lounge is the place for you. This place is very elegant, the decor is lovely and the service is flawless. Must try the King Prawn Jalfrezi...A super dish!
Booked this place for our anniversary as we both work nearby. The place met all expectations from deco, service, ambience and food. Would definitely recommend this place as the experience was positive. Favourite dish I would recommend would be the Ak Bari Lamb Shank.
Highly recommended - especially the Crab Kebab and Lamb Sagwalla - delicious! Have eaten here a number of times and it never fails to impress. The staff are attentive without being overly conspicuous - the atmosphere is lovely and you don't feel rushed. A great place overall.
The food is fantastic, and a bit different to ordinary indian restaurants. The service is attentive and everything about the evening was good - food, wine, service, setting, company! I would highly recommend this restaurant, it's great Indian food with a twist. Well done IL!
