Emma

I was intending to make a booking at this restaurant for my friend's birthday and was surprised when the person at the end of the phone told me that I had a provisional booking for a table but could not secure a permanent booking for our table until I had given them my card details. I have never ever had to give out my card details to book a table at a restaurant before, all before I'd even stepped inside the place or eaten at their establishment. It seemed seriously suspicious. Honestly, give this place a miss! I put one star so I could post this but I would give this place a ZERO for their down right cheek, if this website gave me the option.

DIMIM

I went to the restaurant with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday. We ordered some deserts - a cake for my boyfriend and mint tea and Turkish delight etc for me. I told the waiter that my boyfriend has a birthday and asked if they have a little candle. He brought one of these things that I put on champagne bottles and the stuff was going on the cake which practically made it uneatable. Then when the bill arrived i saw that we we charges 4 pounds for this(I asked for a candle, not the thing that ruined the cake, and I even have to pay for it?!). We were also charges for two mint tea desserts(I ordered one) and there was a strange 3 pounds item called Cover. Overall, we were 13 pounds overcharged and I dint really appreciate it.
