We had our wedding reception at the Lofty Turtle in August - we could not be happier with the place! Food and service were excellent (plenty of food! Tasted lovely! Generous portions), the venue is quirky, has a dancing area (and as it was a warm evening the guests could also go outside) and drinks were excellent! Our guests had a fabulous time - the pub landlady Dee was instrumental in helping with the decoration, last minute sorting out / table plans etc and was very nice to us all along the planning stages - she got customers for life now!

The Lofty Turtle, located on the Upper Richmond Road West, takes its cue from the laid back vibe of moneyed New York beach retreat the Hamptons.
The result is a blend of glamour and relaxation - the retro styled interior boasting black Chesterfield settees, reclaimed deco cinema seats and stage lamps and opulently upholstered ottomans, it’s the perfect setting for The Lofty Turtle’s classic and cult movie projections, 80s arcade games and pool table.
The Lofty Turtle’s food selection is appropriately classic American, not only offering great burgers and steaks but super salads and classics taken from throughout the fifty states of the USA.
Just as much thought has gone in to the drinks menu here, with spirits from local award-winning craft distillery Sipsmith, over sixty craft beers from throughout the world and a wide array of cocktails and wines too.
