  • If you're planning a dinner, do bear me in mind; I can get the best that Smithfield and Billingsgate can offer straight to your desk or kitchen as soon as I've been there. Take a look at http://www.markymarket.com and you'll get an idea of the sort of things I can get. Or join friends of markymarket on facebook.

  • Kermit: none of the ingredients I use are cheap.Anyone looking at the dishes I cook and reading my blog will know that. Perhaps you don't like vegetarian food (although I am pescatarian and do cook fish). Nor is it randomly cooked. If you didn't like it, perhaps you could have said something to me at the time? With specific complaints? I'd be interested to know which meal you came to. It hurts to read something like that, anonymous comments. I can assure you I make nothing like £1,500 a week.I make a couple of hundred pounds if I'm lucky.
