  • As per another review very very poor. Service non-existent. Food average at best. Half attempted refurbishment that looks cheap. If the place delivered what the menu/website describes it would be fantastic. Seems weird that someone has the vision but the complete and utter lack of attention to detail to fulfil what's in their head.

  • How can you review it so unfairly? and on the opening week? certainly not a true reflection. Found this place by chance after picnics in Bishops Park and were amazed from start to finish, Thank you to the whole team, from managers to chefs. Chefs were friendly cooking on the BBQ and even happy to serve us, and the food was amazing. Go just for the wings and fried green tomatoes alone...Will be booking my birthday here and everything else i think going forward!!

  • As a resident of Fulham and from the USA, naturally I was very excited to see that this restaurant was opening up just down the road from me. I went with my girlfriend and before I had even got their I had decided that i was going to have the Lobster as they made it sound so good and a big deal on their website, Facebook, Twitter etc. We walked in and was greeted by a waitress/hostess. She showed us to the furthest part of the empty restaurant. The open kitchen is the centre piece of the dinning room, which I thought was cool idea, until later which I will get to in a bit. After we were seated the waitress brought us over our menus and asked if we would like a drink, we both ordered a coke. She said she would be right back with our drinks and to take our order. The waitress came back with our "small" glasses of coke and asked if we were ready to order, at which point she announces that the Lobster was off the menu. This was a disappointment, I would think that if you make such a big deal about a certain item on your menu you would make sure you had them in stock. I then made the choice to have the Cracked Crab and my girlfriend ordered "Hacked Pork leg with biscuits and southern style BBQ sauce". After about 20 minutes and our glasses being empty for quite sometime I see our food ready to be served and sitting on the pass. After a further 5 minutes, the chef realises we are waiting and goes to get the bar tender from the bar. He gets shown the food looks at us and shrugs then walks off back to the bar. The waitress finally comes back and brings our food to us about 10 minutes after its ready. My cracked crab is one crab cut in half. I thought this was a bit small. As i was about to ask the waitress she brings me over a bowl of garlic shrimp. She explains she is sorry that my order should be much bigger and ran out of crabs but here are some shrimp to make up for it. If I had wanted shrimp I would have asked for shrimp. My girlfriends meal was equally disappointing. Her "hacked" pork leg looked more like a pork loin and was sat on a bunch of wilted spinach and the souther style BBQ sauce was a chunky sweet salsa. There was also no biscuits. The open plan kitchen I originally thought was cool, quickly became annoying. We had a chef constantly staring at us while we ate which made us feel very uncomfortable. The waitress asked if everything was ok and we explained our problems, to which all she could say was "oh sorry" and then walked off to get our bill. Our bill for 2 cokes and 2 main meals came to about £35. Its safe to say we did not leave a tip. Anyone thinking they are going to get a good taste of American food/culture is in for a big shock. Another restaurant trying too hard to be something they just cant pull off. If you want decent American food, Bodeans and Big Easy are still miles above the rest. Low Country = Low quality and High prices.
