Those too shy, or sober, to get up and sing in front of a large audience will appreciate these Japanese-style private karaoke booths. There are nine rooms, or pods, at this Soho venue, each with room for four to 12 singers; larger rooms also come with props such as hats and wigs. An extensive drinks menu includes cocktails (£7), sake, spirits by the bottle, and plenty of wine and beer. All are brought to your pod when you press the ‘thirsty’ button. Food is limited to pizzas and snacks. You can create a playlist before visiting using the song database on the website (and yes, they do have ‘How Do You Want Me To Love You’ by 911). The perfect place to discover your inner Susan Boyle.
