The owners of Lupita showed some savvy when choosing Villiers Street – the narrow, crowded hill that runs between Embankment tube and Charing Cross station – as the place to set up shop.
By day, this good-looking, capable Mexican restaurant gets passing trade from tourists and office workers; by night, it’s descended on by commuters and revellers, many of whom may be tipsy and hungry.
The menu is mostly Mexican standards such as tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, burritos and tostadas. The fillings show more flair and imagination than many Mexican places, however, and there are cocktails by the pitcher if you're with a crowd.
Enjoy a wide range of dishes from tacos, tostadas, quesadillas and enchiladas to salads, soups and totopos (traditional homemade tortilla chips) before washing it all down with one of Lupita's much-loved margaritas.
We're also proud to offer diners the opportunity to taste some of Mexico's hard-to-find beers.
