Really good pub until recently, we have spent a fortune in there and brought large groups friends from clapham and balham for afternoon lunch. We recently went in for a drink only on a Sunday afternoon and were initially told it was fine by two members of staff but we were abruptly told by the same staff a table with no indication that it is reserved. I know it is a gastro pub but it is a pub not a restaurant!

Thank you for putting this oasis in the middle of Streatham! I've lived here for 16 years and never thought I'd find a place like it. Delicious meal and friendly service. Great atmosphere.

Great setting, friendly staff - Most of the food is great though fish and chips a little bland. Lunchtime menu very reasonably priced - in the evening the service is a little slow but would definitely go back again.

Very poor waiting staff, who are inattentive and evasive and wander around ignoring customers. Tonight we gave up and walked out of the place after sitting for quite some time just trying to get a menu.

Friendly staff, well presented food but disappointingly tasteless and overpriced. Although the complaint was handled fairly well we won't be going back there to eat.
