Had the misfortune of dining here today. Will not be returning. You know it's a bad sign when the food arrives within three minutes of ordering, before even the drinks. What can only be described as a slab of beef was overcooked and tasteless. Roast chicken equally flavourless. Veg would have been passable if it weren't for the undercooked roast potatoes. Gravy was bland although the Yorkshire was pretty decent in fairness. When you're charging £15 for a roast you've got to do a lot better than this. Decent place to go for a drink, atmosphere is convivial and relaxed. Just don't bother eating anything.
