Really liked the interior and the atmosphere it helped to created.... Didn't make a booking which was an error on my behalf but the staff managed to fit us in. Only had fries but they were very good fries. Drinks reasonably price... would definitely visit again.

I also had an overwhelming urge to climb the ladder into the DJ booth......

Interesting décor and friendly staff. Food however is served on a tray (keeps the wash up bill low) with generally poor quality somewhat tasteless ingredients. Burgers are a sloppy mess of grease and bun. Some interesting sides but quality and size of burgers are huge let down. It is not a million miles from Burger king in quality.

The buffalo chicken burger may just be the best hangover cure ever

If you like food so dripping with fat they have to give you an entire roll of kitchen towels to soak it up with then this is for you ! If you took the fat out of the burgers they would be the size of one pence coin. The antichristian decor (such as depicting the last supper but with animal heads and skulls for the apostles) could be viewed as trendy or distasteful depending on your point of view. I wonder if it would be trendy to depict religious figures from other faiths in such a way ?

After finishing work at 8pm on Friday night I go to meet my friends, who've been waiting an hour for a table, only to be told that I can't go in to join them and have to eat on my own because I've come late from work. After a small protest I leave and the 'ditchhead who prevents me from joining my friends then goes and tells them that I have a chip on my shoulder. When they get a table there're three spaces next to them. Food was reported to be average. What a let down on my only (brief) night out in the week

John

The average food was let down by abysmal service. I don't mind eating off a tray but when there's 8 people and only one tray... By the time any sort of cutlery or eating surface had arrived (we had to ask three different members of staff) the burger had disintegrated into mush. The whole thing felt like we were a massive inconvenience to the extremely stressed waiting staff. Over an hour to be seated (we turned up at 6.30) and even then we had to cram on to our benches because 'all the extra chairs were broken' - it was that or two of our party were eating on their own. One of our mains never turned up and after asking after it 3 or four time we gave up and shared between us.

Cocktails are amazing, staff very friendly and the food is on another level.

I'm getting a little tired of the 'dude food' trend and found Meat Liquor a bit agressively trendy, though in spite of all that I loved this place. Sure a burger is always going to be a burger, but this was grease-down-the-chin delicious. And the Largerita (lager and margherita) cocktail was inspired. Swift service, the ability to book and less pretentious vibe helped made this a very enjoyable outing indeed.

Loved MEATmission, much better than Meatliquor. No queue as of yet ( guess this is due to it just opening) staff greet you warmly at the bar and you are sat either straight away ( on my first visit) or given a seat at the bar( second visit by the time I'd ordered a drink they had a table for me) food was too notch as usual, I had the chilli cheese fries and the peckham dip ( amazing by the way!) and staff were able to explain and recommend in detail which was a pleasant difference to other restaurants! The decor wasn't overtly over pretentious. If in honest I've been twice in 2 weeks, you either love it or you hate it but at least it is what it is and for me that's great.

This place is great! Really enjoyed everything about it, food, drink decor and music. Possibly best of all were all the folk who work there, you were all superb! I wish you every success and am already telling my friends so we can plan a trip back up to you again and again and again...... (makes me hungry just thinking about it)! :)
