Had a fantastic Lunch at Momo. My table was in the terrace and the service was perfect. Enjoyed the Lunch set menu which is good value for money. I suggest the Momo special Cocktail for drinks , the food was delicious. I could only recomment the restaurant !

Yes this place is not cheap, but it is enchanting to sit outdoor in the summer, and the Kemia bar downstairs is pretty special. Momo is a favorite place of mine. Been going for over 7 years.

I have been going to Momo for some years now , and all i can tell it has never loose the magic. The food is very good and the staff efficient and helpful. I am not familiar with the restaurant as i often go the their cafe or terrace. One of the best place in London

Very surprised that this is a top-rated restaurant. Food was okay, but fairly pricey. Staff varied from indifferent to belligerent. When approached with a complaint about staff the manager was dismissive. He clearly had no interest in listening to complaint, and clearly felt that the customer must be in the wrong. I am happy to oblige him by never returning.

Came to Momo for the 1st time on a Friday night after starting to be a regular for their weekend Brunch (you should try that! Especially their twist on the Full English Breakfast).

The main restaurant made us travel to Morocco and forget we where in London. Tagines superb & couscous tasty but very filling. We will definity revisit for dinner on the top of loving the brunch!

ForeignCockney

Wow, seriously expensive for what we received, oh yes and ‘main attraction couscous’ was extra. Ditto below – my Tajine was nothing like the picture in this review but it was so dark I might be mistaken. Maybe TimeOut should revisit...

I can only agree about the bad service. Such a disorganized team I have not seen in ages. Even if the interiour is nice and food is ok, I don't think I will come back. Luckily there is a big choice of restaurants in London.

Daria

Terrible management, rude staff and supervisor . We we are not accepted as we just wanted to have drinks. It's a cafe bar and have a terrace so people mostly come here for drinks and I did not see anyone eating there while we are being kicked out!! Don't go!

Dissapointed by MOMO

I organised dinner here under the assumption that it was a great venue because of Time Out 4 star review. But it was something else. The deco was good but the service was awful. My friend who I hadn't seen in years was constantly pushed and shoved and leaned over to get bottles of wine which was terribly located where we where told to sit. The staff who served us didn't seem interested in us after the first meeting, it was like a constant smile would crack her face. The lady at the door was lovely but they need to really sort some of the other staff out. It was dissapointing and then to add insult to injury 13% service charge was pre-added to our bill....nice. I don't think I can reccommend this place to ay of my business clients.

Londoner

Terrible service from the moment we arrived. The music was far too loud and didn't fit with the atmosphere of the restaurant. For these two reasons I would certainly not recommend this venue. As Kiki has written, the food, drinks and venue were lovely but completely overshadowed by the poor service who were impolite, pushy and inconsiderate.

Kiki

Gorgeous venue but totally let down by the poor service, you don't notice service if it is good, here you notice the service by the endless problems and issues.

We visited the place on two occasions. We were very impressed with the decor, the atmosphere was nice, the music varies, one time it was more modern, the other time the music was more authentic and fitting for the venue. On both occasions they played it too loud for a cafe. The service was shocking both times. The staff socialize with each other more then they do with customers, even though the place is half-empty. On the menu you are offered a tea refill, however the staff never comes around to ask if you would like a one, or to find out if everything is alright for that matter. The menu states that if you are ordering after 6 you must order food. Even though it was a quarter to 6 the waiter had the audacity to tell us we ought to order food with our tea and continued to push for an order after we pointed out it wasn't 6 yet. The prices were a bit too high for what you were getting. Moroccan tea was quite enjoyable, the hummus on the other hand not so great.

Beautifully decorated. Great atmosphere. Lovely food. But even though the staff were really friendly, the service was pretty poor. It took far too long to get our drinks, and when the bread was put on the table none of us got stuck in because our mouths were so dry. Our food also took too long, but the friendly waitress gave us a few complimentary starters to keep us going, which thought was very nice as we hadn't actually complained (yet). It's very pricey, and because of the service I feel it's not really justified. But saying that I would definitely go back, for the ambiance alone.

Service was terrible, especially from the manager. Very arrogant. The disappointment in the service unfortunately ruined the experience.

Nice decore and energetic staff, but I felt too crowed and cramped, and I wasn't very impressed with my Tajine

Unless you feel like handing over your money for nothing, do not attend. Hidden charge of £12 per person if you are unable to attend your reservation. Somewhere which is going to treat their customers like that doesn't deserve any custom!

Pleasant enough environment, but horrifically average for what you pay. I wouldn't suggest to anyone that they go there. In fact, i would plea that you find another restaurant. Staff lost my booking, twice, can't sit under the tables, essentially a waste of money. Keep on searching for a decent restaurant.... because this isn't one.

POOR SERVICE AND RUDE AND INSULTING MANAGER..... Momos used to be a friendly chilled restaurant with no amazing food but at least a friendly service... THAT WAS 10 YEARS AGO... now with the new management, clients are rushed to order fast, no time for tea and deserts and we get ejected..... we were just given the bill and asked to leave... The manager was very insulting from the very start despite us SPENDING OVER 250GBP for 3 people..... THIS IS DEFINTELY THE LAST TIME I GO TO MOMOS
