With a menu ranging from a full English to steamed mussels in a coconut broth and beer-braised beef brisket, you'd be forgiven for puzzling over what exactly Niche's, well, niche is. The big, all-inclusive idea behind this north London restaurant is that coeliacs can eat absolutely anything on the menu because every dish is gluten-free. They even have dairy-free and vegan options to boot.
Situated a stone's throw from Sadler's Wells dance theatre and Exmouth Market, this light, airy and well-presented venue provides a pleasant spot for a bite to eat. They're open from brunch to dinner almost every day (last orders at 3.30pm on Sundays), and their walls double as a gallery for contemporary artwork by London photographer Matthew Burlem.
