Those who are expecting a St John restaurant experience at the same location will not be disappointed. Tom Harris is still in charge of the kitchen and happy to talk to diners. The menu was a little different but our patient waitress gently guided us with our choices. The dishes can be shared or as a starter & main per person. We particularly enjoyed the saffron mussels and pigskin with roe (think pork crackling with taramasalata). We tried the savoury sausages with white beans and the plump plaice with girolles - both dishes bursting with freshness & flavour. The Bulgarian red was very quaffable. We will return with friends. Highly recommended.
