Paradise by Way of Kensal Green

Another great meal at Paradise! Service and food are equally were both amazing and will continue to keep coming back.

Managed to get to Paradise this weekend after hearing so many good things from friends – wish I had gone sooner! It’s an amazing place with some real style… same goes for the food! Everything perfectly cooked with lots of flavour. …Definitely now one of our favourite places to eat and drink in London – highly recommended.

We live in Brighton and accepted an invitation to lunch last Sunday in London. It would proved to be a good day out with the London Marathon and seeing friends. We then found out we were having lunch at Paradise in Kensal Green. First thought was - where's that? After some searching on Google I discovered the pub, its location, menu and reviews. It would not have been my first choice but as we had already accepted the invitation, there was no going back and the reviews helped! On arrival our friends were already there so we sat down to eat. The decor was incredible! The photos on here are 100% accurate! I felt like royalty! We had the charcuterie board (complimented with a variety of pickled veggies) to share which was AMAZING! The meat melted in my mouth and the flavours so individual but all came together beautifully. ... We then opted for the sunday roast, I had lamb the other half indulged himself with the beef - so just got stuck in.... It was amazing! British pub food taken to a new level! I am not a food writer so I really can't do this justice!!! What I can say is that you won't be disappointed! The wines were the perfect accompaniment to the meal. The host chose but I knew I was in perfect hands when I looked at the incredible wine list. We had an amazing choice from South Africa and Spain. The icing on the cake came when I saw they had baked cheese cake on the menu. It was PERECT fork after fork. I indulged till it was all gone! The staff were excellent.. Glasses (wine and water) were topped up - they were just friendly enough and always on hand (they even had a charger of my iPhone… now that is what I call service!) The other diners were jovial, they really seemed to be enjoying their food and drinks. I had almost forgotten it was a Sunday evening by the time it came to go home as the atmosphere was electrifying… This place is a gem of a find. I kinda wished I lived nearby to indulge myself from time to time. If you are a local, I envy you, if you are looking for something that is different, unique and apart from great value a cool place with amazing food - I suggest you try this place… The best thing about trying new places is realising how much more there is out there to discover! Hats off to the management and staff!

I just celebrated my bday at the Paradise last Friday and it was most enjoyable. Service was efficient and friendly. Food was great. And it was awesome being able to have dinner and then head off to the dance floor after. An evening well spent!

I went with 3 friends for dinner at Paradise for the first time. The restaurant was beautiful, and we were welcomed by friendly staff and warm bread. The food was quite nice; I had an artichoke salad to start which was boring, and then seabass for main. I wouldn't say it was anything extraordinary, but with the offer it was okay - the portions were very small. I don't think I will return without the 50% off as it is too pricey for what you get. On the positive side, the wine list is excellent, the atmosphere is nice, and the staff are very knowledgeable and ready to help.

Me and my friends enjoyed a fabulous meal on saturday then went upstairs and enjoyed the tunes!! will be back!
