In the heart of Hackney, Pogo is a fully vegan eatery, a free space for local environmental and political groups, and even hosts yoga classes. The veggie burgers are particularly wholesome, and there is an interesting selection of reading material on the bookshelves.

Fabulous friendly vegan cafe which is 100% run by volunteers, plenty of things to do there, such as read books from their fantastic collection, play board games or just blend in with the atmosphere. Usually a great selection of food, a daily special, soup, salad, cakes, etc., all at reasonable prices. They have a large selection of teas, they also have great coffee, a variety of milk alternatives, fresh juices, smoothies & shakes. Such a great community spirit, I would certainly recommend Pogo Cafe to all my friends!

Came here after a friend recommended it. The place was great, if a little strange at first. It's run by volunteers who hang out at the cafe, but the food was lovely and at £6 for a main meal it's hardly pricey!

this place is pricey and has awful service. the food took a long time to arrive and was burnt. the breakfast used to be great but now is TERRIBLE. definitely give this place a miss
