It's a shame because Railroad is a nice little cafe on the surface, but turns out to be not very welcoming to mums and babies. There is nowhere to change nappies in the toilet and the owner insisted I go out onto the street to change my baby. Not cool! The coffee was decent enough but nothing special. I won't be back.

great coffee shop, especially good for working as it was a relaxing vibe, with very friendly staff and with great coffee. for eating i would recommend it much more for dinners than for breakfasts as the breakfast menu is quite limited. Definitely worth a visit.

Really good coffee. Interesting breakfasts – often with a middle-eastern flourish. The real standouts, though, are the set-menu dinners, which are really good value for generous portions. I go here often.

Ingrid

Really interesting food, and very nice wines too. (we tried a recommended white and red).

I fully recommend this cafe. The staff are kind and friendly, the coffee and food is delicious and there's always a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's an effort when I walk past not to go in, for my young son too who often asks to be taken to 'the cafe with the red door'.
