Local workers flock to this miniscule Chinese tea house' at lunchtime for fast and fragrant noodle and rice dishes, prepared with plenty of fresh ingredients, and without MSG or excess oil. Apply yourself to the serious business of putting away an enormous bowl of chilli beef soup noodles, featuring abundant fresh coriander and plenty of kick, or choose from a variety of wok-fried noodle dishes, Thai curries or homely rice dishes. Favourite sides include the crispy seaweed, veggie spring rolls and super-crunchy stir-fried French beans with garlic. Wind up with the gorgeous ginger and honey ice-cream and a therapeutic' tea. Jenny Lo's is attractively clean-cut, but the communal refectory tables and bench-style seating make it more suited to a fuel stop than a romantic rendezvous.
