Despite the sort of punning name that would make even Victor Lewis-Smith blanch, Just Falafs is an enlightened fast food eaterie is there any other kind these days? that ticks all the right boxes. The ingredients are mostly organic and seasonal, and the hot beverages are Fairtrade. Inside the tiny takeaway there are a few high chairs for eating in, and a small seating area outside, complete with parasol heaters. Falafels, flavoured with dill, fresh coriander and whole coriander seeds came with mild, creamy tahini, spiky green chilli sauce, and strident aubergine sauce inside khobez flatbreads, along with beetroot, carrot and nut, mixed sprouts, and other sprightly salads of choice. There's also an imaginative range of soft drinks on offer, plus porridge, soup and lentil dahl.

Had an appalling experience with this place recently.
My girlfriend had ordered food and paid extra to eat outside on their tables. I had with me a bottle of diet coke purchased from elsewhere and was asked to leave as I hadn't purchased it from them. I explained that my girlfriend had bought food from them and was a legitimate customer, but the rude gentleman told me he was the owner and he makes the rules and I had to leave!
I will never return to this place again and neither will my girlfriend. It spoiled a lovely day out.
