Aanya Wine Lounge
Although Aanya is a wine bar not a restaurant, it deserves inclusion here for the impressive selection of North Indian snack food; it's the sort of fare you might find at Mumbai's smart cocktail parties. Reshmi (‘silken') chicken kebab and lamb chops were tender and vibrantly spiced, while paneer parcels were expertly made filo pastry bags stuffed with spiced cheese. We also liked the bread-based canapés that come topped with sweetcorn and peppers, but the succulent tandoori prawns were somewhat overwhelmed by their coriander, mint and chilli marinade. The menu can seem short and repetitive if you're planning on eating a full meal, but on our visits Aanya has always been packed with beautiful young people having a good time, which goes a long way to making up for its limitations as a destination dining venue.

What a lovely experience... Staff friendly, helpful and professional; the wine lounge and chilled music feel is lovely; food is the best indian I''ve tasted! (quality dishes, beautifully presented and not too expensive). We shared chilli paneer, lamb biryani and naan.
Gonna give them a call...

We loved it. Great food beautifully presented, spiced but not overpowering. Three of us were able to have 3 different fish dishes, vegetables, salad, rice and seeded naan plus decent wine. Plenty of service and attention even though full on a Saturday evening. We will definately go back.
