Occupying the site that used to be home to Little Georgia, this easy-going French outfit has settled in as a decent local on a road with plenty of options. The menu plays it safe in a charmingly old-school way: the likes of fish soup or goat's cheese salad followed by chicken stew, say, or lamb chops with ratatouille in the evenings; brunch means big cooked breakfasts, croque monsieur or pastries. At dinner the sure bet is steak frites, with either a creamy roquefort or green pepper sauce. The only real problem we've found here is that the relaxed vibe extends to the staff service is friendly but sometimes verges on the clueless. Last time we were here, the coffee arrived quickly, but we had to wait almost an hour for a very simple brunch order of croissant plus scrambled eggs and smoked salmon.
