• The Coyote

  • As at the Chiswick-based original, the Coyote's well-priced food speaks with a Southwestern US twang. Starters includes gooey nachos and tangy chicken wings alongside more novel options such as cool tuna ceviche marinated in lime juice, or spice-crusted baby-back ribs. Most are big enough to share. The mains list ranges from the exotic (peppered ostrich steak) to the mundane (burgers), but stick to dishes that use smoky Southwestern flavours: the lamb marinated in dried Central American spices and crusted in pecans is a prime example. Service is sharp and the mood relaxed the Coyote is a fine choice way out west.
