Breakfast Club
As the name suggests, this caff does a decent line in breakfast dishes that aren't the usual fry-ups: you could have Special K with toast and Marmite or jam, plus tea/coffee and fresh orange juice. Or get in touch with your inner sybarite and have the peanut butter and banana toasties, or even the Nutella version. It's a nice place for lunch too: the split-level room is quiet, and attractively decorated in a decidedly uncorporate, renovated-warehouse kind of way. The young staff are friendly, and the range of food includes toasted sandwiches such as tuna melts, prettily presented on a plate with lots of salad garnish. The espresso-based coffees are decent, and there are iMacs on a counter that allow customers free internet access.
