I've been about six times since this place opened mid-March and never had to wait for service. In fact three of us managed to order, eat and pay within 40 mins at the weekend!
I have been to there few time. Yes ,sushi is good, food is fine, friendly staffs but somehow, service is poor.
I mean about waiting time. starter never come, sushi also never come. Even the restaurant seems not busy.
I like sushi, but the place makes me so tired ....
Amazing sushi and great value, especially the copious lunch sets. Friendly and efficient staff. All round a great new sushi bar
I literally finished my Matsu take-away, 10 minutes ago and I felt I had to come and leave a review, as it was possibly the worst of my restaurant experiences for 2008.
Matsu is extraordinarily over-priced. In return for £20 we received a very average prawn tempura (2 prawns for £6.50!!!!!!!!), an even more average and sparse serving of salmon teriyaki and a few grains of bland rice.
We will definitely not be heading back there in 2009!!
If you're thinking about paying Matsu a visit, may I suggest you think twice!
Great place, the staff was friendly and the food was very good. I will definitely be eating there again.
A down to earth straight talking japanese restaurant. Ive eaten here 5 times this year and ive never been disappointed. Why aren't more people coming here?
