The ‘rodizio’ style of dining suits the Brazilian flair for informal fun. Waiters dash round the room with long, sword-like skewers of meat. The only way to enjoy the experience is to chat with them and ensure you get the best cuts. The meal is constantly interrupted. To get anything else (salad, black beans, rice, fried fish), you have to visit the self-service buffet. The Islington branch is a lively, bustling place; on a Friday night, we beat the rush (just) by arriving at 7.30pm. Though we were relatively alone in a semi-secluded corner, the friendly waiters came and went every few minutes bringing chicken hearts, garlic-laced lamb, pork sausages, tender sirloin, chicken wings and assorted other meaty delicacies. Everything was tasty, well salted and generally well grilled. When the maître d’ asked how things were going, we requested a medium-rare slice of steak, and in a trice it was delivered. The fixed price – £19 a head for meats only; £24.90 for the seafood option (not available in the Westbourne Grove branch) – is on the high side, so try to come here when you’re very hungry and fancy a boisterous chat.

I took my mother and daughter for motherday dinner, We waited 50 mins for are drinks. And the manager still had the nerve to try and charge me for them. The food was ok, but the service was really bad. Please dont waste your time or money
I'm afraid I didn't think much of this place. The first problem was the price. For upper street, 17 pounds for a buffet seems a bit steep given the abundance of cheap eateries stretching up almost to Highbury Corner. Next door, Marsala zone's Thalis are 11 pounds for example.
Admittedly there was a generous choice of food hot and cold, and an infinite flow of meat carved from skewers at your table. If you are really peckish then you'll not leave feeling hard done by! But it was all a bit bland, more reminiscent of a half-board hotel buffet in the canaries than exciting Latin cuisine that I'd want to return to. Service was attentive. Maybe I needed to down some Caiperhinas to get into the mood.
