Sunday night is opera night at this rustic-themed family-friendly trattoria, and it gets packed. Against the backdrop of a traditional Italian kitchen and courtyard, complete with hanging washing and garlic, the singer walks among diners performing well-known works. Formerly Mamma Amalfis, its now part of the Bella Italia stable, so the menu includes a competent selection of pizzas, pastas and salads.

For a chain restaurant this place is very nice! food is always nice and opera singers are a nice treat. In teh summer when they have the large shutters open it has a great atmosphere, if you want italian go to this one as the italians further down the street are pretty dismal
