Bianco Nero’s black-and-white decor is smart but lacks atmosphere, rather like a branch of a pizza chain. Tables for four are small, but service was attentive and patient when asked to repeat specials, which were about the only things of interest given the brief and predictable menu. A starter of thinly sliced rabbit stuffed with rabbit liver was delicious, and the gnocchi was obviously homemade, but swamped with red onion. Main courses ranged from just acceptable to inedible. Best was roast turbot: slightly overcooked, but the accompanying crushed potatoes and beurre blanc worked well. Pasta with spicy sausage was workmanlike. However the pork loin was awful: not just pink, but totally uncooked in parts, with too sharp mustard mash and an overpowering sauce. A carafe of pinot grigio wasn’t cold enough either. We shared a portion of white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake, which was excellent. Bianco Nero needs to up its consistency, so that the food is more in line with the prices.

Hello. I'm a Scottish guy living in London, and I don't think I'm going to be very good at writing all about myself in a few short sentances. So as...

Good value pre theatre menu at £14.50 for 2 courses. I had a creamy gorgonzola pear salad and salmon with spinach and tomatoes and cougettes and shared my partner's chocolate tart and wished I had ordered my own as it really was too good to share!! Everything was served freshly cooked but promptly and with a smile so we were not stressed about getting out in time for our theatre booking
Really enjoyed my evening here. Had fantastic selection of antipasto and some amazing wines. The service was pretty good and although we didn't go for pudding we did sneak in a rather delicious cappuccino. Would definately recommend, great spot for a romantic dinner.
I eat at Bianco Nero regularly and always have a great meal. We had a meal just before Christmas the place was packed. My wife had homemade raviloli which she said was delicious and I had seafood risotto that I could not fault. For dessert we both had white chocolate cheesescake which is an absolute winner.
This is possibly one of the worst Italian restaurants I've ever been to. The Spaghetti with tomato and basil seemed to be missing the Basil. The pasta itself was overcooked and tasteless and the sauce had the consistency of water. The place looks the part, it just a shame they didn't put as much effort into the food.
Responded to e-mail requesting evening with Supercook Winner James Nathan at £50 per head 1x3 set coursewithout wine plus service charge. Bill came to £380 (2 bottles of wine) for 4. Service bad/slow/amateur food very average except choc pud. Downstairs wine/cocktail/bar clients walking through middle of restaurant awful. River Cafe/Bibendum prices without the food or service. No tablecloths. James Nathan's name being banded about not a good idea for him.Simply very bad. Avoid.
I was very impressed with this restaurant, Hammersmith has been crying out for somewhere suitable to eat with colleagues, friends or clients for ages and this place is ideal!
