  • Feng Sushi

  • The tiny Notting Hill Gate outlet of Feng Sushi is cramped, but this cheerful chain also has larger branches by Royal Festival Hall and Chalk Farm. Our bento lunch (no box) contained excellent vegetable tempura plus serviceable salmon and tuna sashimi and nigiri. Hand-rolls were fine too, but brown-rice mackerel maki, which had a strong, fresh flavour, fell apart too easily. The menu also includes interesting fusion dishes such as noodle salads.
