Went to La Figa on a Friday night. What a disappointing experience.
Food - It seems necessary to cover everything in a sea of olive oil. I ordered the seafood salad to start. Poor quality seafood with lettuce all sitting in half an inch of olive oil which I had to pour out into a side plate.
Value for Money - Very poor. £6 for a glass of wine, £4 for an orange juice. What a rip off. They give you large portions of food to justify the very high prices on the menu.
Service - Is fine but there is an over the top friendliness at first. If you spend lots of money and are fake in return you are fine. If you ask to share a dish with another diner in your partner you are met with frowns and scowls.
Overall it is a poor place to eat or drink. i woke up this morning feeling I had been mugged. Particualrly as 30 yards down the road is a Gordon Ramsey gastropub (The Narrow) which is cheaper and such a better standard.
Have 2 average meals anywhere else rather than one poor one at La Figa
