i'm living in near by Church Street. I've tried many restaurants before in this area. But nothing compares to this i think this place is amazing. Because when i went there at lunch time hours. I had a £7.99 lunch menu. Which included 3 kinds of salads, rice and one free soft drink. This place is well worth going!

i think this place is amazing! i've been to many restaurants in the area and nothing compares to the wonder food they offer there. its no surpirse ten that the massive abouts of portions of kekbabs fill you up no problems. i went there many times espcially lunch hors as they offer discounts. i had a chicken shish warp with a free drink for only £6. Well worth going!

Have eaten here many times and the food, especially grilled meats are amazing. When busy the service can be quite slow, but it's always made up for by many complementry salads and hot bread.

I've been to 19NBC2 twice now and the food is definitely worth trying; they seem to offer a few variations on standard turkish fare you might get at the Dervish or Clicia (also excellent) but the service although 'friendly' seemed a bit forced and impatient.
I do feel like I'm nitpicking now, especially since my 2 visits were on a busy saturday evening and a slow tuesday night, but there really isn't anything else to fault.

Perhaps the other reviewer went somewhere else... this is one of the best local restaurants in Stoke Newington. Hot, fresh and tasty grilled meats, all served with an excellent griled onion salad with pomengrante and sumac. The owners genuinely care if you're enjoying yourself, and it's full most of the time. Well worth a look.
