Time Out has teamed up with tastelondon to offer you a fantastic one month free trial
Long lunchtime queues are a testament to the fact that even the dairy-free health ices (intriguingly made from rice flour) at this Italian artisan’s shop are utterly delicious. Flavours we love include fig and ricotta, and nocciola tonda gentile delle langhe (that’s a very superior Piedmont hazelnut ice-cream).

Oooh horrors! Ok, so, I live in south London in my own really quite small flat. I do not have a cat but long for a dog. I only learnt to drive last...

SIMPLY THE BEST ICE CREAM IN LONDON!!!!
Hmm. This place is, indeed, decent. But Jo - not all of us are constrained to spend our lives in London, and so may have a slightly broader perspective than you. I thought Scoop was very good for London - it's just that that's not the same as saying it stacks up against what's out there in the rest of the world. Gawd, so provincial! London's not the centre of the world, you know?
I beg to differ with the previous review. I love Scoop and think they have some of the best icecream in London. They are also, handily around the corner from my gym so I am a frequent visitor and never tire of their choice of flavours...
Okay, but not great. Scoop has disappointingly few flavours and a big subset of them are quite similar. Quality is good but not by any means the best I've had. And for a so-called 'artisanal' place, it's remarkably stingy with it's tastes - only allows one (one wouldn't need too many, given the few flavours on offer, but two or three would help!) Overall - okay, good, even, but if this is the vanguard of artisanal gelato in London, then London has a long way to go.
