  • Thai Thai - East

  • Tucked away near Old Street Station in London's east end, Thai Thai East has become the dining destination de rigeur for hip socialistas and local Thai curry connoisseurs. The light and airy dining room - with ruby and vanilla coloured walls, blonde wood furniture and potted palms – is perfect for relaxed meals with friends and colleagues, and has a huge following with a fashionable crowd who drop in to eat before drinking and dancing the night aways. We recommend the crispy roast duck with tamarind sauce and the coconut-coated banana fritters served with coconut ice cream and honey syrup washed down with a refreshing Strawberry Mule cocktail made with vodka, strawberries, lime and ginger beer.

just had lunch here with 13 colleagues - a diverse group not easily satisfied or impressed. our order was taken promptly and the drinks and food delivered quickly. staff were attentive and friendly throughout our meal and the consensus across our table was that the food was good. we'll definitely visit again.
