An old friend has moved into the neighbourhood. Smollensky's has smartenedup a bit for Canary Wharf, with a hint of shellfish with bubbly added to thecomfortable Smollensky's mix of updated Art Deco furnishings and an all-American menu. In fact, Smollensky's still manages to offer something for nearly everyone. It's great for business lunches and after-work drinks,and for rather more romantic dinners a deux, then goes all family -friendly for the weekend. The view over the docks from the terrace is charming in the sun. The modern American menu includes long-time favourites like hot and spicy BBQ chicken wings for starters and mains like burgers,chipolte glazed salmon, or an array of steaks for which they are justly celebrated.
