We would imagine that the fine people of SW13 would rather not have the whole world know about this delightful little neighbourhood gem. San Remo’s extensive menu has just about every classic Italian dish you could imagine, plus a few new favourites to try. Start off with a round of hot and cold antipasti like champignons con granchio gratinati (crabmeat stuffed mushrooms with cream), and then choose from a broad range of meat, chicken and fresh fish dishes. Our favourites include the large king prawns in garlic and white wine sauce and the pollo salernitana (chicken with aubergine, cheese and tomato) to name a couple. A well-rounded Italian wine list is moderately priced, with bottles to suit every budget.
