Restaurant 109 first opened its doors in 1998 and it has been a firm favourite with Richmond locals ever since. Enjoying an enviable location just moments from Kew Gardens; the restaurant itself is a small, intimate space – ideal for mid-week dinners with friends or a laid-back Sunday lunch with the family. The Chef puts locally sourced produce to good use in European-inspired dishes like foie gras on a toasted baguette with tomato and cumin chutney; roast chicken with lemon, sweet potato and scallions; and rib eye steak with béarnaise sauce. Alongside a concise wine list and an affordable fixed price menu; Restaurant 109 also boasts an excellent pudding menu – the raspberry crème brulee is well worth saving room for!
