Pamphylia Restaurant means colourful lanterns, hanging gourds, ‘magic’ lamps and unusual small arched windows -- it goes a significant way towards creating a beautifully warm feel in this Muswell Hill Mediterranean. For a posh-looking place, Pamphylia prices its menu very reasonably; the most you’ll be charged is £6.50 for a casserole. It specialises in pide, a traditional Anatolian dish that’s bit like an open calzone, skillfully shaped from a small ball of dough to produce a crispy outer crust. You choose the filling; minced lamb, and spinach and goats cheese are popular. Best eaten with the hands.
