Enviably located next to London’s Shaftesbury Theatre, Ozone is a relaxed and unpretentious restaurant with a great international menu. The laid-back vibe and comfortable leather seating is popular with the locals at lunchtime; while the modestly priced pre-theatre menu is a big hit with West End art lovers in the evenings. Popular dishes include chicken stroganoff; moussaka; and their delicious lasagna. We recommend trying some of their Russian and Bulgarian specalties like Borsch and meatballs with rice and lutenitza. The wine list is reasonably priced and there are Russian vodkas on offer if you fancy something stronger. Within easy walking distance of Covent Garden, Soho and Leicester Square; Ozone is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat before a night out.

The misleading ad above should not have really appeared in the Russian section. Nor in fact under the Restaurants at all. It is nothing but a bog-standard lunch/evening time fast snack cafe with an absolutely standard for London, "international" choice of sandwiches and microwave-heated light snacks, to eat on the run. There was not a single Russian dish on the menu (with the poor exception of beef-str'ff which can't really be counted as Russian dish anymore, due to the way it is usually cooked, or rather re-heated, in these London cafes). Lunch time and evening menus I was told were the same - light snacks and sandwiches. Needless to say no borsch or anything in the vicinity thereof. The only Russian thing about this fast food place was the Russian flag above the door.
