Nineteen is a chic and chilled restaurant in London's Streatham Hill. The lush warehouse-style interior – complete with dark leather sofas and exposed bricks – provides a buzzy, cosmopolitan atmosphere for fun nights out, and Nineteen's brasserie-inspired menu is sensational. Favourite dishes include the crispy-skin sea bass with mash, ceps and parsley puree; pan-fried calves liver with mustard mash and onion rings; and the risotto of fennel, squash, tomato and shaved parmesan. Whether you're after a long, lazy Sunday lunch, a stylish venue for a business brunch or a relaxed, intimate setting for a night out with friends – Nineteen is ideal. The bar is always filled with a stylish crowd, and is the perfect place for pre/post dinner cocktails.

Nice menu, reasonable prices, but I just wish they'd sort the service out.
The waitresses are always friendly enough, when you finally get their attention, but it just seems like noone really cares about the place.
Finally ordered having not even been offered drinks after waiting 20 minutes, only to then wait half an hour for the food to arrive. So a couple of sandwiches and two coffees ends up taking over an hour.
I'd heard others comment "nineteen" was the number of minutes it took to get served in here - the reality is even that would be an improvement.
Once it finally came the food was pretty good - but really by then I was too hungry to care.
