Montys restaurant has become an Ealing Broadway institution, and its cheery dining room and modern Nepalese menu have had regular customers coming back for nearly 30 years. Owned by Mahanta Shrestha, a prominent figure in London's Nepalese community, the spacious dining room at Montys has tiled floors and colourful seating, and the cuisine is authentically prepared in the way they are served in Nepalese homes. The restaurant often hosts live jazz, and is a great venue for family fun, business entertaining and parties. Signature dishes include Montys Special Kebab – chicken marinated with cheese, malt vinegar, garlic, spinach and herbs; the Haans ko Masu ginger flavoured duck; and the Panner Tikka made with cottage cheese, ginger, coriander and fresh mint.
