Nestled in the heart of South London, near Elephant & Castle, Lye Torng is a relaxed and unpretentious restaurant serving up authentic Thai cuisine. In the evening, the spacious bar, which offers a range of beers, wine and cocktails, is perfect for post-work or pre-dinner drinks. The restaurant itself combines simple wooden furniture with exotic palms to create a laid-back setting for low-key dinners with friends and family. Lye Torng’s chefs use only the freshest ingredients and traditional recipes so their dishes are served just as they would be in Thailand. Our favourites include the stir-fried scallops in a rich garlic and pepper sauce; the authentic Pad Thai noodles; and the deliciously fragrant beef massaman curry.
