Fresh, light, modern, and sophisticated are words that describe both the brand new Lighthouse restaurant and its meltingly good Italian fusion menu. The dining room is pleasingly modern and spacious and there is a lovely patio for lingering on and on. The menu changes frequently, and every dish is an adventure. Try perroche bruschetta with piquillo peppers, caperberries, babaganoush and greek olives to start, perhaps followed by pan-fried sea bass on wild garlic leaves, courgettes, ratte potatoes and romesco sauce. Black pepper cheesecake with gooseberry compote is a winner, too. Chatty lunches, romantic evenings, with friendly service always.
