Conveniently located next to the Mornington Crescent tube station in north London, Etrusco restaurant is within walking distance of Regent's Park and Camden Town. This lively Italian is popular with locals and has its own lounge bar downstairs, which is open every night until 2am. The restaurant itself has a cheery atmosphere, with tiled floors and tables dressed in cream and chocolate brown, and Etrusco is perfect for catch-ups with friends and hearty traditional Italian meals. The menu at Etrusco is filled with old favourites, and we love the rocket salad with grilled pears and provolone cheese; the penne with Italian sausages and broccoli in a chilli and garlic sauce; and the mixed seafood risotto.

Friendly little restaurant, OK for a large group looking for drinks and a cheap meal, or a quick eat for a couple.
Food is very average - the pasta dishes are not at all different to what a competent student cooks up regularly, but the portions are generous. I ate the penne with Italian sausages, which was tasty, but identical to what I make at home (including the British style pork sausage used).
The menu-cards are cheap, the waitress didn't seem to understand many of our requests, but the manager was very friendly, and more efficient than his colleague.
I would return for a drink and an upscale alternative to fast food, but could not recommend it for an evening out.
