  • In an area of South London not known for its smart eateries, Chilli Chutney Restaurant does a fine job of providing a bit of airy, inviting style while keeping to local prices. If you’re of the mind that an Indian is an Indian is an Indian, maybe you should book a table here. Chilli Chutney specialises in dishes from Lahore (where the chefs are from) which are predominantly cooked in tandoor ovens. See for yourself through the open kitchen. Most dishes are instantly recognisable, while chitkara chicken chilli chutney (sweet, sour and spicy curry in a plum sauce) might please those looking to try something new. A variety of stuffed naans (the house specialty) are served piping hot and smelling lovely - straight from the tandoor.
