A long time Kensington institution, The Ark serves up modern Italian cuisine. Although the interior space is limited, clever design has made the dining area seem a lot larger with decent sized tables and comfortable seating. The bijou decked area to the rear of the restaurant makes a delightful spot for al fresco eating. Expect more than competent cooking with top quality ingredients and beautiful presentation. We love the fresh Cornish crabmeat bruschetta to start, followed by the Galloway fillet steak with roast cherry tomatoes and potato rosti. If you still have room try the profiteroles with warm chocolate sauce. Pasta, bread and ice-cream are all made in house and white truffles are a regular menu feature in the autumn.
