How good can a burger get? Just don’t mess with the basic formula. We want a good, soft bun; juicy beef, never overdone; fresh, sprightly toppings. At the growing chain Byron, all the burgers are cooked to a perfect medium (unless otherwise requested) and served in an unadorned bun. The signature Byron burger, with dry-cure bacon, mature cheddar and a somewhat secret ‘Byron sauce’ (a posher version of a thousand island sauce, with capers and peppers), is one such stunner. Pickles are served on the side – a nice touch for the pickle aversive – and our skinny french fries were crisp, golden strands of fluffy potato. The venue at Westfield, housed in the airy ‘Loft’, is open and spacious, with an open kitchen island where the burgers are freshly grilled to order.

Damn fine burger, but i stilll love the choice at GBK. Byron's milkshakes are far far better than GBK.
I go to the Kings Road Byron at least once a month. Hands down best burger in London. No one does it better.
I think this is the best place in the centre. I go with my husband and kids when shopping at the weekend. It looks great and does what is says on the tin: great burgers with no fuss.
Went last night and thought it was great. Awesome burger, cooked properly. Much better than GBK or Ground.
I have to say, my low rating of this place is not due to the food, which was decent. The burger was tasty, juicy, and the bun was lovely. However, the atmosphere was dull, the service was extremely slow and inattentive (this was mainly because Byron was ridiculously understaffed, especially for a Friday night), none of the waiters seemed genuinely friendly, they looked like they really did not want to be working there. We had to wait a long time in order to be seated, despite the absence of a queue, and the restaurant being half-empty. It was all terribly overpriced, more expensive than GBK, even though the burgers were half the size. Also, the menu is too simple and uninspiring. French fries were nondescript, nothing special. My partner was disappointed as he couldn't get his favourite beer, even though it was on the menu.
Anyway, why go to any other burger place when you can go to Ground, which is the best place in London, and where prices are pretty similar to Byron?
I ate at the Byron burger at W estfield tonight. My burger was dull, overcooked and seriously overpriced. I was very disappointed. My fries were mediocre and very greasy. the venue is very airy and attractive and the service adequate and friendly.
