Not in Waterloo station itself, you'll find Inshoku among a parade of shops in the street market of Lower Marsh. Most of the lunchtime clientele seems to come in from the immediate locality, rather than heading over from the station. The interior, furnished with worn-looking parasols and ukiyo-e prints, needs redecorating, and both the lighting and the cleanliness of the dining area could be improved. We sampled some good gyoza, some acceptable miso soup, and enjoyed the comfort-food taste of oyako-don (chicken pieces on rice). Service was friendly too. However, our sushi, though copious, was mostly left on the plate; it just didn't seem to have that zinging-fresh quality of the best fish. Prices are low but, sadly, so can be the standard of food.
