A genuine welcome from owners Tony and Thelma Kularbwong, plus tasty home-style Thai cooking, are the hallmarks of this ever-popular caff, whose basic decor and location away from Leytonstone's main drag haven't prevented it becoming a staunch favourite in these parts. The menu is a roll call of familiar flavours, but the standard is high and there's no skimping on authentic ingredients such as pea aubergines in the gang keow-wan (green curry). Pad talay (stir-fried mixed seafood) was crammed with fishy morsels; all veg tasted fresh and crunchy. There's a small specials board from which one dish each year is added to the main menu the kind of quirky touch which Singburi's devotees appreciate. Prices have risen slightly in the last year but the BYO policy remains.

Some of the best Thai food you'll find anywhere, at a bargain price too. The owners have a knack of making all the customers feel right at home - it's a genuinely friendly place. The offy a few doors down has a good selection of beers to take along.
Amazing quality thai food at a bargain price. Authentic ingredients and BYO policy. Pad thai, green papaya salad and fishcakes are fantastic but don't forget to check out the specials board. A new addition is the Yentafo (something like that) a fish soup with the crispiest most delicious wontons I've ever had.
Great place to eat Thai, very friendly service.
