This long-standing tapas joint contrasts with the kebab shops and burger bars around Southgate tube station. The interior has an authentic Catalan feel (whitewashed walls and dark oak beams), if you'll forgive all the Arsenal football paraphernalia. Tapas dishes are decent and well-priced: pan-fried kidneys were cooked to perfection and Spanish tortilla was properly firm with robust flavour. If you remember to give your order 30 minutes in advance (best to call ahead), go for the eponymous, tasty paella. Service is attentive and the atmosphere pleasant enough for a linger.
